Welcome! I don't know what brought you here or how you found our Peace Within the Battle website. Maybe it was recommended by a friend. Maybe you've read our book, About Face: Finding Peace Within the Battle. Or maybe your algorithm simply knew you'd love it here.

In any case, if you are looking to find peace within the battles of life--whether that's dealing with real-life military combat, fighting to save your marriage, or facing an unexpected challenge--you have come to the right place. We're so glad you're here.

Who We Are

Peace Within the Battle is a collection of people who believe is second chances, in about face moments, and Christ encounters that change everything. We are military veterans and storytellers, business owners and bikers, farmers and artists, storytellers and marathon runners. We have been to war and back. We have sent fathers and brothers and best friends off to war, too. And they have not always come back the same. Yet, through Christ, we are seeing the healing old wounds, the forging new friendships, and the building of stong legacies.

If that sounds good, or at the very least intriguing, then stick around.

The majority of our TAC posts will be written by our Peace Within the Battle core team members: John, Gary, Ger, Kevin, and Bethany. We also look foward to inviting in guests who have high quality and timely imput that aligns with our mission.

What to Expect from TAC

One of the best things about a tactical command post is that it's a mobile command center, rapidly set up where you need it, when you need it. We aim to create an easily accessible communication hub where you can find connection, direction, and guidance.
